PIERRE, S.D. - Three members of ESD Conference champion Aberdeen Central have been named to the 2006 ESD All-Conference Volleyball team. Named to the team from Aberdeen Central are seniors Christina Kusler and Whitney Morsching. Also named is junior Sophia McDermott. Pierre was the only other school to have 3 players named to the team. They were senior Amy Griese, junior Polly Gill and sophomore Stephanie Paluch. Watertown and Huron each had two girls make the team. They are senior Haley Yseth and junior Kalie Cox of Watertown and senior Jen Miner and junior Trisha Birr of Huron. Rounding out the All ESD Volleyball team is senior Liz Nuss of Brandon Valley. Junior Ellyce Youngren of Brookings and Melissa Dorale of Mitchell. Girls earning Honorable Mention include senior Erin Hofland of Aberdeen Central. Senior Courtney West of Brandon Valley. Junior Mollie Merriam of Huron. Seniors Megan Kirby and Shanna Iburg of Mitchell. Seniors Paige Corcoran of Pierre and Jordan Strandberg of Watertown and juniors Karissa Bromley and Kylie Gross of Yankton.
