There is a new job listing for a Sound Technician on the bulletin board by the
stairs.
FBLA Members: Our November meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10 at 6:30
p.m. Hope to see you all there.
This months character trait is encouraging. Stop in the office to pick up a
form. Deadline is Friday November 27.
There will be a National Honor Society meeting on Monday, Nov. 9th, immediately
after school in the senior lounge. This will be a short meeting.
Sophomores who are interested in being nominated for the Hugh O’Brian (HOBY)
Youth Leadership summer program to be held June 10th - 13th should stop in the
Guidance Office for information and an application. Deadline to apply is Nov.
11th.
The deadline to register for the December 12th ACT is TODAY.

There will be a TATU meeting for anyone wishing to work on the Great American
Smoke-Out next Tuesday, immediately after school in Mrs. Neiles' room.
Seniors who are interested in science and intend to pursue advanced degrees in
math, science, engineering or technology there is an excellent opportunity to
receive a scholarship to spend one month in the summer studying such fields as
physics engineering and geology. The classroom includes locations that span the
globe. See Mrs. DenOuden in the Guidance Office for more information and how to
apply. Deadline is December 18th.
2009.LEGISLATIVE PAGE PROGRAM -- high school seniors interested in serving as a
page, must be sponsored by a SD Legislator or Legislator-elect. After obtaining
sponsorship, the student secures an application form to complete and return to
the Legislative Research Council in Pierre. For more information stop in the
Guidance Office. All applications are due by November 13, 2009.
