Students interested in a European Tour of World War II sites in the summer of
2013 should attend an information meeting tonight Thursday, Nov. 3 in Riggs
Cafeteria at 7:00 pm. It is a two-week trip hi-lighting stops in England,
France, Belgium, and Germany. Attend if you are interested!
Any senior that did not submit their signature for the senior shirt in their
English classes please stop and sign in Mr. Venner's room (228) ASAP. The design
for the 2012 senior shirt is being submitted this week. It will be ready for
view soon and order forms will be made available at that time.
NSU is offering free applications during the month of November. The only
applications considered for this offer are paper (no electronic applications).

Seniors if you have not checked your e-mail lately, please do so -- you have a
message from the Guidance Office.
There will be a quick meeting for those who are interested in wrestling this
year on Tuesday, November 8th at 3:10. The meeting will take place in the
wrestling room. If you have any questions, contact Coach Noyes.
Deadline to register for the December 10th ACT test is midnight on Friday,
November 4th. To register on-line stop in the Guidance Office to get the
information.
Attention Sophomores interested in the Hugh O’Brian (HOBY) Youth Leadership
seminar -- applications are available in the Guidance Office. HOBY programs
provide one selected student to participate in this unique leadership training,
service-learning and motivation-building experiences. The seminar is in June for
about 5 days. Deadline to apply is November 16th.
Attention Sophomores: If you are interested in taking the PLAN test on Nov. 15th
you need to stop in the Guidance Office to sign up and pay $11.50 at that time.
The PLAN test can give you a good idea how you will score on the ACT test and
can also give you some direction in your future plans
Teen Court New Volunteer Training - For those interested in becoming Teen Court
volunteers -Sunday, November 6th from 1pm - 3pm Stanley County Courthouse

Yearbook Blow Out Sale. Are you missing a yearbook from one of your years at
Riggs High School? You are in luck. We have plenty to get rid of at a new
DISCOUNTED price. Yearbooks from 2006-2008: $10 and 2009-2010: $20.

Black Hills State University is holding an information meeting Thursday November
10th at the Casey Tibbs Event Center in Ft Pierre. Check in at 6:30 pm. Those

Announcing the opening of registration for Destination ImagiNation, the world’s
largest creative problem solving and critical thinking program. Registration
forms are available in the school office. An informational meeting for parents
will be held at Buchanan School on November 10 at 5:15 p.m.; registration forms
