NSU is offering free applications during the month of November. The only applications considered for this offer are paper (no electronic applications). Mail it directly to NSU.

Students please be aware that tomorrow -Friday morning part of the student parking lot will be blocked off for veteran’s parking for the Veteran’s day program.

There will be a quick meeting for those who are interested in wrestling this year on Tuesday, November 8th at 3:10. The meeting will take place in the wrestling room. If you have any questions, contact Coach Noyes.

Seniors: The Principal’s Leadership Award deadline to apply is Thursday, November 10th. To initially qualify you should have at least a 3.75 GPA and be very active in school and community activities.

Black Hills State University is holding an information meeting Thursday November 10th at the Casey Tibbs Event Center in Ft Pierre. Check in at 6:30 pm. Those present are eligible for a $500.00 scholarship. Register at www.bhsu.edu/Pierre or call (605) 642-6343

TGIC's character trait for November is APPRECIATIVE. If you know of someone who is always optimistic and thankful for what they've been blessed with stop in the office to nominate them today! Please have nominations in by November 30th.

Attention track athletes who are NOT in a winter sport: There will be a short meeting after school on Tuesday, November 15th at 3:05 in Coach Larson's room classroom (Room 323) for those interested in participating in track and field in the spring. This meeting is intended only for those athletes who are not participating in a winter sport.

The Black Hills State University representative will be in the Guidance Office at 1:00 for about ½ hour.

Attention Sophomores interested in the Hugh O’Brian (HOBY) Youth Leadership seminar -- applications are available in the Guidance Office. HOBY programs provide one selected student to participate in this unique leadership training, service-learning and motivation-building experiences. The seminar is in June for about 5 days. Deadline to apply is November 16th.

Attention Sophomores: If you are interested in taking the PLAN test on Nov. 15th you need to stop in the Guidance Office to sign up and pay $11.50 at that time. The PLAN test can give you a good idea how you will score on the ACT test and can also give you some direction in your future plans
