Your attitude shows throughout the school. March's trait is trustworthy. Stop in
the front office to pick up a form and nominate somebody today.
Girl’s basketball meeting Wed. in coach Kannegieter’s room, you will be checking
in uniforms also.
There will be a meeting on TODAY for all boys' basketball players who played on
the sophomore, JV, and Varsity teams this season. This meeting will be in Coach
Becker's room right after school and attendance is mandatory. Please bring all
of your uniforms, practice jerseys, & warm-ups for check-in at this time.
All students and parents are invited to attend the 13th Annual Kids Voting SD
Liberty Ball Game Tuesday night at Riggs gym, at 7:00 p.m. SD Senate vs SD House
of Representatives. They will be selling Tacos with Top dogs at 5:30 p.m.
If your considering attending a technical school in South Dakota? Most programs
at these schools require you to take the COMPASS test ($15). If you are looking
at a program in the health care area you may need to take the HOBET test ($25).
Western Dakota Technical Institute will bring their traveling campus to Riggs on
March 16th. If you need to take either of these tests please stop in the
guidance office to sign up by March 10th. This is a one time event otherwise you
will need to travel to the technical school to take the test. Please sign up now
Are you planning on taking (or retaking ) the ACT this spring? An ACT prep
course will be offered at Riggs. The 9 hour course runs from 3:40-6:40 on March
22nd (Monday); March 23rd (Tuesday) and March 24th (Wednesday). The cost for the
course is $75.00. Sign up now in the Guidance Office if you are interested.
Teen Mock Legislative Session and weekend retreat will be held at the State
Capital from March 26 - 27th. If you are interested and would like more
information, stop in the Guidance Office. Deadline to register is Wednesday
3/10th.
Attention Juniors: If you are interested in getting information regarding Boys
or Girls State for this summer, stop in the Guidance Office and see Mrs.
DenOuden as soon as possible.
SENIORS: REMIND YOUR PARENTS ABOUT PICTURES and MONEY THAT IS NEEDED FOR THE
PARENT SENIOR PARTY, TURNED IN TO MRS. TIBBS IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE.
