Congratulations to Carissa Brandt and Benita Corcoran who were chosen as TGIC's Characters of the Month for November's trait, appreciative. December's trait is generous. If you know of someone who is considerate, selfless and concerned for other people, stop in the office and nominate them today. Nominations are due by December 20th.

FBLA is holding a school-wide food drive this week. Please help the hungry in our community by bringing a
nonperishable food item to your English class.

If you are taking the ACT test on Saturday, please plan to be in the lobby by 7:45 a.m. to register. You will need to bring #2 pencils (NOT MECHANICAL), erasers, your admission ticket, a photo ID (school ID is okay), and an approved calculator. Calculators are not provided, so please plan ahead.

Mrs. Vogt's and Mrs. Zuercher's junior homerooms have concession duty for Friday night's home basketball game. Please stop in room 221 or 222 to sign up to work. Juniors in other homerooms and even seniors who still need points for their caps and gowns are welcome to sign up to work as well

ATTENTION STUDENTS: Missouri Shores Domestic Violence Center is looking for a Student Board Member to represent Riggs High School on the Board of Directors. We are looking for a responsible, mature, and committed individual. We have board meetings once a month, usually on the last Tuesday of the month. The Board expects a prospective board meeting to be at every meeting that they are able to attend. A meeting for all students going to LNI will be held on Thursday right after school in room 321. It is very important for everyone who is going to attend this meeting. We will also have practice following the meeting

Attention seniors! You should be able to view the graphic for your senior signature shirt in your English class. Order forms are available there also. If not, please stop in room 228 for the form. Orders and money are due to Mr. Venner by Friday Dec. 16.

Students: The student senate will be holding a coloring contest for the next week to raise money for the Oahe Child Development children. The Head Start children need lots of hats, mittens and boots throughout the winter season to keep the little ones warm. During lunch and study halls, you can "buy" two pages to color for the contest. Put your finished pages in Mrs. Neiles' or Ms Swanson's mailbox by Thursday, Dec 15. Next Thursday and Friday during lunch you can buy a vote for fifty cents each, for the winning page. All proceeds will go to Head Start to keep the kids warm. Join in the fun and keep the little ones warm!!
