FBLA is holding a school-wide food drive this week. Please help the hungry in our community by bringing a
nonperishable food item to your English class.

ATTENTION STUDENTS: Missouri Shores Domestic Violence Center is looking for a Student Board Member to represent Riggs High School on the Board of Directors. We are looking for a responsible, mature, and committed individual. We have board meetings once a month, usually on the last Tuesday of the month. The Board expects a prospective board meeting to be at every meeting that they are able to attend. Attention seniors! You should be able to view the graphic for your senior signature shirt in your English class. Order forms are available there also. If not, please stop in room 228 for the form. Orders and money are due to Mr. Venner by Friday Dec. 16.

"Congratulations to all students who participated in the state oral interpretation competition in Pierre this past weekend. One hundred schools from SD were involved, and our students Justin Oakland, Abe Kanz, Katherine Anderson, Benita Corcoran, Adelyn Crabtree, Joey Knofczynski, Ryon Skaggs, and Lydia Kanz participated. Also, a special congrats to Lydia Kanz, who earned a superior rating with her piece "Tips for Women." Awesome work, everyone! You did a great job."

High School rodeo club meets tonight at 6:30 at the Casey Tibbs Cinter. Bring extra calendars that you don't intend to sell and money for embroidery on vests if you haven't paid yet. Please contact Kelly or Renae if you aren't attending.

Ms. Zakahi's drama one classes today should meet in the following places: Period 5 - meet in the classroom; period 6 - meet the substitute in the junior senior lounge for attendance and then go in to watch the matinee; Period 7 - meet my substitute in the junior senior lounge to watch the end of the show

A meeting for all students going to LNI will be held on Thursday right after school in room 321. It is very important for everyone who is going to attend this meeting. We will also have practice following the meeting.

Mrs. Vogt's and Mrs. Zuercher's junior homerooms have concession duty for Friday night's home basketball game. Please stop in room 221 or 222 to sign up to work. Juniors in other homerooms and even seniors who still need points for their caps and gowns are welcome to sign up to work as well
