Pencil bag found outside the science wing identify & claim in the office
Basketball Sideline Cheer Try Outs will be held Nov 1st and 2nd at 6:30pm in the Lunch Room.
This Friday we will be playing Bocce Ball during 4th period. Be sure to join in on the fun!
Jostens will be here at Riggs on Friday, Nov 2nd, for Presentation day. He will meet with the Seniors...8:45 - 9:15 in the Auditorium and Juniors...9:40 - 10:10 in the Auditorium.
JV football players need to have their green jerseys on for a yearbook photo in the upper level of the main gym at 3:15 TODAY. After the photo they will report to Coach Kramer's room for the meeting at 3:30.
Northern Statue University is waiving the application fee during the month of November. The only applications considered for this offer are paper applications. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. Apply early in order to be accepted by the end of the month.
Voice of Democracy contest is open to all high students. Prizes and scholarships are awarded at the local, district, state, and national level. You will need to record your original 3 - 5 minute essay on a standard cassette tape or CD. The deadline for this contest is Nov. 1st. Stop in the Guidance Office for more information and an entry
Moose Youth Awareness Scholarship Student Congress -- this is a one day leadership seminar event at Ft. Pierre Moose Lodge on Nov. 10th beginning at 9:00. There will be 3 speakers and a lunch break. To be eligible for scholarship awards you must attend this conference. Stop in the Guidance Office and pick up more information or you can call Norma Tibbs at 223-2051 or 222-7983. Deadline is November 1st.

Attention Sophomores interested in the Hugh O’Brian (HOBY) Youth Leadership seminar -- applications are available in the Guidance Office. HOBY programs provide one selected student to participate in this unique leadership training, service-learning and motivation-building experiences. The seminar is in June for about 5 days. Deadline to apply is November 16th.
