3-30-2007: Everyone was to be at breakfast by 7:30 am.  The breakfast had everything imaginable- from fruit and cereal to bacon, eggs and toast. Did you know that when you eat bacon and eggs, the chicken was involved in the breakfast while the pig was committed?

Anyway, right after we ate, we had until 8:30 am to board the bus. The ride downtown took about an hour. We met a guy from the Untouchable Gangster Tour who lead us on an interesting adventure into life in Chicago during the prohibition years. The tour lasted about 2 hours and names like Al Capone and Machine Gun Jack McGurn were examples of the gangsters discussed. 

Shopping from noon till 5:00 pm was next on the agenda. Then we all meet at the Navy Pier and headed for Giordanos for Pizza and lots of laughs.  Following the meal, we walked to the Oriental Theater where we watched the Broadway show "Wicked"- A tale of the witches and friends before the original Wizard of Oz story as told on TV.  The performance lasted until about 11:30 pm.  We arrived at the motel around midnight. Tomorrow is the band performance in the afternoon followed by an adventure at Medieval Times.
